Attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy, on proposals, sales and cost estimating for the construction of landscape installations and site improvements. Pre-purchase property evaluations including the expected aspect of sizing up a parcel’s physical characteristics in the form of site inventories and analyses, as well as compliance based on a thorough review of zoning and environmental restrictions and regulations.
Based on my competency, I was often relied on to work on drawings and permit applications for the procurement of permits from Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, building and remodeling, demolition, zoning and soil erosion.
Project Management
Writing of contractual documents including work contracts, changing work orders and design specifications for landscape construction, site improvement, and building and remodeling. I often acted as a client liaison for building construction and remodeling projects, which included meeting projects deadlines and the interpretation of construction drawings and specifications. I likewise scheduled and oversaw contractors and subcontractors of multiple projects with both concurrent and independent deadlines.
Property Management
I also was the Property Manager of 26-unit condominium complex for 7 years that involved building daily and weekly maintenance, scheduling of contractors and subcontractors for building improvements, repairs and maintenance projects. I reported and often lead the condominium Board of Directors monthly meetings providing status updates regarding property and building improvement deadlines and condominium association budget finances. Finally, I served as liaison for condominium unit owner improvements all the way from basic to full remodeling and maintenance of individual condominium units.
